In March 2008, five visionary nurses dreamed and saw the birthing of GHANAVA. In March 2019 GHANAVA rebranded to Virginia Association of Ghanaian Nurses VAGHAN. On a solid foundation this umbrella representing nurses of Ghanaian ethnicity continues to serve and educate our communities across the state of Virginia and Ghana.
